GETTING OVER EXHAUSTION

If you are 65 or older, you may be exhausted.  It is time to get over it.

The reason I am saying this is probably you are reaching retirement age or you have already retired.  This is when you try to figure out what you can now do with the life you have left.   You know how fast the years went by and realize that the future years will go by even faster.   It is a sobering thought and one we'd rather not contemplate.  Yet, let's be realistic. Nothing ever stays the same.   Yes, we've had great times; traveled places, enjoyed so much of life even if it was alot of work!    Loved and was loved.

 What now?

I recently watched a video that I felt  made  real sense.  She is a retired, 92 year old woman, who spent years working with Hospice patients. She watched them carefully and heard what was in their minds and hearts as they knew that life was ending for them.

They had joys and memories, just as we all do.  They had heartaches.  We know about those.  Then they also had regrets that they wished they could change, but knew it was too late.

I think that this is why this woman made the video because as she listened to these people, she decided to make  some real changes in her own life and wants others to decide how they can turn their exhausting everyday thoughts into peace and relaxation.

The main thing she is saying is, "DON'T EXHAUST YOURSELF BY THE WAY YOU ARE LIVING NOW. YOU WILL BE WASTING MUCH OF YOUR LIFE, WHICH IS NOT NECESSARY."

So, I decided that I knew enough people, including myself, that may be doing exactly that...living with exhausting thoughts and actions.  Whether you are a man or woman,  I hope that what she has to say will ring some bells for you, as it has mine.

TURN UP YOUR SOUND and SIT BACK AND LISTEN, IT MAY CHANGE YOUR LIFE.
